Divine Kaos

Divine Kaos began during a time when I needed an escape. I grew up in a deeply religious household of divorced parents.  Mom side baptist christian, and dad's side catholic. surrounded by sermons, scripture, and imagery of angels and demons everywhere I looked. Those themes stayed with me.

Writing became my doorway out of the real world and into one I could shape for myself. A world where angels weren’t perfect, demons weren’t predictable, and the war between light and darkness was far more complicated than what I’d been taught.

What started as a private outlet slowly grew into the universe I’ve spent over a decade building. Divine Kaos became the story I carried with me through every season of life—evolving as I did, expanding with every idea, and grounding me when I needed something that belonged only to me.  Now, after years of imagining, drafting, reshaping, and dreaming, I finally get to share that world with others. Divine Kaos is more than a story for me, it’s the place that taught me I could take the pieces of where I came from and turn them into something entirely my own.

Oriel (humble beginnings)

This is the main protagonist of Divine Kaos.  Oriel.  This was the 1st design I did of Oriel back in August of 2012

Abraxus

Demon Prince of Infernum, reckless and relentless. His fire is both weapon and devotion. Abraxus is a play on the name Abraxas. The Basilidian sect of Gnostics of the second century believed that his name contained great mysteries, as it was composed of the seven Greek letters which form the number 365, the number of days in a year.

Oriel (now)

Torn between Heaven and Hell, she bears both shadow and flame, destined to stand at the center of prophecy. The name Oriel is derived from the archangel’s name Uriel which is of Hebrew origin and means “light of God”.

Aniel

The name “Aniel” is of Hebrew origin and is derived from the word “ani,” meaning “I” or “me,” and “el,” which refers to God. Therefore, the name “Aniel” can be interpreted as “God is with me” or “God is my strength.”
